Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting Abdoulaye Fall at the Green Flea Market in NYC found at 77th and Columbus. This flea market is one our favorites to visit. I was intrigued by Abdoulaye's jewelry and how beautiful it is. Made from silver, glass, beads, animal horn, leather, they are hard to miss. He was born and raised in Senegal on the west coast of Africa and he lives in NYC. His cousin, Adama, who lives in M'Bour, Senegal, makes the more traditional style pieces from their culture, whereas, Adboulaye makes more modern designs inspired by living in NYC. He has been selling on Etsy since 2007 and you may find their pieces at bissap.etsy.com or stop by the Green Flea Market on Sundays.
